Introduction, Spring 2008 Cluster Teaching materials

Introduction to the Spring 2008 Teaching Material

Here is the material for the first two in the new Cluster series, starting on January 13th, along with the proposed titles for all six weeks. I will be working on the next four between Christmas and the New Year, but I thought it would be helpful for you to have an idea of where we are heading. I have deliberately provided rather more material than you can use at the time. That is deliberate, to give you a pool of ideas and material to choose from and to draw on.

I have found it a thoroughly worthwhile experience to immerse myself for the past few days in the book of Revelation. This course is about two people in the first instance: the Lord Jesus, and His beloved disciple, John. Indirectly it is about all of us too, who worship the same Lord, and in lesser measure may be called to tread the same path. There is vision to be imparted and traps to be avoided that we may not have perceived quite so clearly before, hidden within the single chapter that forms the stunning opening to the most far-reaching Apocalypse ever revealed to mankind. I pray it will prove enlightening for you and your groups too. God bless,

Robert
