Can you imagine being part of a Church which the Lord Jesus could find, quite simply, nothing to praise? This Church was proud because they thought they were doing everything right – but as far as God was concerned they were doing everything wrong. Laodicea was not an apathetic church; they were in fact very busy in their Christian service – yet something was missing, and the end effect was not pleasing to the Lord.
