Deborah - Incisive and Decisive for the Lord

The Song of Deborah is one of the earliest poems in Scripture – a great
shout of praise to the God who has just won a great and essential victory
for His people after a time of great oppression.

It was written by Deborah, a most remarkable women in the Bible, who
would have taught this song to her army, who, in turn, would have passed
it on to the next generation as a reminder for the generations to come of
the things that God had done. Like all prophetic scriptures, there is much
that we can learn through it about the heart of the God we serve.
